John has over 35 years of business experience. He has been the CEO of three major businesses and he has assisted several hundreds of entrepreneurs in starting up their own companies and businesses.
He is currently involved in commercial real estate investing as well as helping companies with establishing a good foundation for business credit and lending. He will share with you some of his ‘golden nuggets’ from his many years of business expertise.
John Calvin started his career as an entrepreneur in the early 80’s flipping residential properties. There he learned valuable lessons on the value of sticking to a timeline and staying on a budget. *(Where was the property brothers shortcut to flipping properties back then?)
John continued advancing in his residential property flipping career , where he graduated to commercial real estate investing. It was not without its own set of new challenges and learning curve, but John was determined to not give up.
In the late 90’s John was introduced to a very good friend and later to become his Mentor, a gentleman by the name of Charles White.
Under the mentorship and guidance of Mr. Charles White, John’s real estate investing career reverted over into the financing aspect of mortgage notes, and how to use a corporation to invest in real estate, both residential and commercial.
John went on to take business classes (along with continuing his mentorship with Mr. Charles White), at the University of Phoenix, where he obtained his BA degree in business. Soon after his graduation his mentor Mr. Charles White passed away.
John being determined to make his mentor, the late Mr. Charles White proud of his time invested with him, continued to study and learn about investing, corporations, marketing and business strategies from some of the market’s leading experts.
John learned best by implementing various tactics, strategies, and business practices for growth.
As a result of him having a never giving up spirit, he has went on to establish over 35 different businesses in various industries and niches.
He became the CEO of three of these businesses and has since started coaching different business owners on how to start, grow and scale their own business using a corporate entity. John emphasize to use of the right corporate or business entity for the right job. (More like how a carpenter or plumber would use the right tool to complete the right job.)
